Melissa Timmerman

President

God gave Melissa a vision in 2014 for this house. She was affected by addiction through her sister in law, son and brother. Many years of battles led to God revealing the root cause of addiction and allowed her to understand so that she could help be a vital part of their recovery. She is a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant of 23 years, where she has worked with mental health patients and those in addiction. She is CPPS certified and excited to build relationships and love women to Christ while helping their families come together to be a vital part of recover at IHAM.

Misti Stone

Vice President

Misti is a registered nurse, a business owner, and an active community member who participates in multiple ministries throughout the state. She has seen first hand the negative impact of addiction in her family and in her workplace. She has also seen the redeeming power of Christ mend lives. Misti has a passion for loving people where they are.

Crysti Hood

Board Member

Crysti is a wife, mother and GiGi to two beautiful grand babies that she loves spending time with. Family is everything to her. She has been a Cosmetologist for 31 years and is Co-owner of Divine Creations Salon. This is a salon where God has led in creating an atmosphere to be able to minister to and pray for clients as the Lord leads. Crysti’s desire is to see women set free from addiction of every kind and see their value and worth through God’s eyes!

Julie Hood

Board Member

Julie is in long term recovery from a substance abuse disorder. She has been in recovery for 7 years, after living in the bondage of active addiction for more than 20 years. She has been a Certified Peer Support Specialist for 4 years. She began her career at The Forrester Center for Behavioral Health in Spartanburg, SC, and now employed with Crossroads Treatment Centers. She is a full-time student at Limestone University, pursuing her masters in social work. She is very passionate about recovery and helping those that still suffer find hope, for she has been hopeless. And by being a light in someone else’s darkness, because she’s been in darkness. But she believes God’s grace is sufficient and His mercy endures forever. Darkness doesn’t last always and if you’re alive, THERE’S HOPE!

Charlene Washington

Secretary/Treasurer

Charlene Washington is a native Californian, born to Clarence and Margaret Grey, August 22, 1959; she is number five of eight children. She is happily married to Minister Anthony Washington of 30 years, mother of two daughters Mischana and Sandra Arnold, and grandmother of Hasanei and Hezekiah Anderson, four great grandchildren. She enjoys Sunday dinners with her family, listening to music and reading. Washington was lead to Christ 1991; she committed her life to the Lord, October 10, 1993 at Agape Outreach Ministry under the leadership of Bishop Esther Q. Davis. She accepted the call to ministry in 1994 and after two years of seminary was ordained an Elder in 1996. She continued on with seminary to gain a degree in Christian Leadership at Pacific Coast Bible College in 1997. She is the former Administrative Assistance/Associate Elder for Agape Outreach Ministry – Christ Holy Sanctified Church, her service to Lord at Agape included Director of the Choir, member of the Praise and Worship Team, Director of Youth Ministry, Sunday school Teacher/ Director, and Finance Team. Charlene Washington accepted the call from the Lord as Pastor of Inspirational Church House of Worship – CHSC March 2012, services began on January 27, 2013. She returned to seminary and has gain her Bachelor degree in Administration/Christian Counseling, May 2013, Master of Administration in Theology and Doctor of Divinity in Biblical Counseling, May 2014. She served as the President/Director for the Southwest Diocese’s Holy Young People Bible Study, Christ Holy Sanctified Church. Elder Washington is an avid supporter and planner of youth events and programs. She enjoys teaching the word of God, She also serves as assistance of finances for the Southwest Diocese. Charlene Washington retired September 2020 and moved to Easley SC and a member of New Image Church under the leadership of Pastor Mark Livingston Sr.
